PhotoTime theme is... Aged...


...and so I finally stopped along US-10 and shot photos of this old structure I've noticed so many times. I got a BONUS!!! Once out of my vehicle and wandering closer, I discovered a crumbling chimney back in amongst the overgrowth... obviously where the house once stood! 

PhotoTime Tuesday..... Ground Level... Oasis

There is a little rest stop on our way to the lakeside cottage. They provide a unisex two-holer for anybody either desperate or brave enough to use it... fortunately I've never been that desperate! There is also a hand pump. In the heat, husband likes to stop, pump it and toss cold water on his face... to refresh before continuing on our trek north. I think the exercise is more to stretch our legs than for the cold water. Anyway, here is a ground level view of the pump.  

PhotoTime Tuesday Theme #53 is Askew! 
Something is askew besides the boat. How do I give directions to my house now? It used to be, 'the house with the big sailboat in the driveway.' Now it's gone. The boat? No longer askew when the driver got his rig straight on the road! Bye, bye, Solace!

It is so WRONG...to give a 10 year old a solo and then hide his face so his gramma can't get a good photo of the little angel! This is my entry for PhotoTime Tuesday's theme #52..... Wrong.
