"Centennial Passage"

...caught my eye driving to the library one day. We went back for photos. We discovered the gate is actually a sculpture by Neil Goodman symbolizing a century of growth between Midland and The Dow Chemical Company. 100 hexagons are all linked to create the passageway but each moves independently as well. Beautiful symbolism.

This sculpture is actually over a walkway leading to another sculpture representing the unique relationship between the city and the company.

My talented daughter directed this play... Fiddler on a Roof...
and my husband and I were privileged to be her official photographers. The play was as good as every peformance of Fiddler I've ever seen! These kids love performing for their favorite teacher!
